What are the processing techniques of aluminum alloy accessories

2022-09-16

5 common processes for processing aluminum alloy parts:

1. Aluminum alloy parts processing, also called CNC processing, automatic lathe processing, CNC lathe processing, etc.,
(1) Ordinary machine tools use turning, milling, planing, drilling, grinding, etc. to process mold parts, and then make necessary repairs to fitters and assemble them into various molds.
(2) The precision requirements of mold parts are high, and it is difficult to ensure high machining accuracy only with ordinary machine tools, so it is necessary to use precision machine tools for processing.
(3) In order to make punch parts, especially complex-shaped punches, punch holes and cavity processing more automated, and fitter's repair work more automated, it is necessary to use CNC machine tools (such as three-coordinate CNC milling machines, machining centers, CNC grinder, etc.) to process molds.

2. Stamping of aluminum alloy parts

Punching refers to the forming process of applying external force to plates, strips, pipes and profiles by means of punching machines and dies to cause plastic deformation or separation to obtain workpieces (stamping parts) of required shape and size. Stamping is a production process of product accessories with a certain shape, size and performance, by means of the power of a conventional or special stamping machine, the plate is directly deformed by force in the mold, and then deformed to obtain a certain shape, size and performance. plate. Dies and equipment are the three major elements of stamping processing. Stamping method is a processing method of metal cold deformation, so it is also called cold stamping or sheet stamping, referred to as stamping. This is a major metal plastic working method.

3. Precision casting aluminum alloy accessories
It belongs to the precision casting of special castings. Parts obtained in this way usually do not need to be machined. Such as investment casting, pressure casting, etc. Compared with traditional casting techniques, precision casting is a casting method. The method can obtain a more precise shape and improve the casting precision. The more common practice is: first design and manufacture the mold according to the product requirements (with a small margin or no margin), cast wax by the pouring method to obtain the original wax mold, and then repeatedly paint on the wax mold, the hard shell, The wax mold is dissolved in it to obtain the cavity for dewaxing; the shell is fired to achieve sufficient strength; the metal material for pouring; the sand is cleaned after shelling; high-precision finished products can be obtained. Heat treatment and cold working according to product requirements.

4. Powder metallurgy aluminum alloy accessories
Powder metallurgy is a technology that uses metal powder (sometimes a small amount of non-metal powder is added) to mix metal powder, shape, sinter, and make materials or products. There are two parts to it, namely:
(1) Manufacture of metal powder (also including alloy powder, hereinafter collectively referred to as "metal powder").
(2) Mix metal powder (sometimes also add a small amount of non-metal powder), shape it and sinter it to make a material (called "powder metallurgy material") or product (called "powder metallurgy product").

5. Injection molding of aluminum alloy parts
The solid powder and the organic binder are uniformly kneaded, and after granulation, they are injected into the mold cavity with an injection molding machine in a heated and plasticized state (~150°C) to solidify and form, and then chemically or thermally decompose the formed blank. The binder is removed, and then the product is obtained by sintering and densification. Compared with traditional processes, it has the characteristics of high precision, uniform organization, excellent performance and low production cost. Its products are widely used in electronic information engineering, biomedical equipment, office equipment, automobiles, machinery, hardware, sports equipment, watch industry, weapons and aerospace industries.
