Tube-fin cores are common in ordinary intercoolers, but not common in high-performance after-sales intercoolers. This is because these types of intercoolers can easily absorb heat in a hot engine compartment, or when repeated pulling causes the intercooler to overheat. This heat absorption can lead to power loss.
Bar Plate Core straight-plate intercooler can operate better under high temperature conditions without loss of efficiency, and it performs well in heat transfer.
