1.Front-mounted intercooler
Generally installed on the inside of the front bumper, that is, the front of the condenser is lower. Among the air-cooled intercoolers, the front-mounted intercooler has the best heat dissipation effect.
2.Top-mounted intercooler
Generally installed on the upper part of the engine, near the intake manifold, the engine compartment cover has an air inlet to facilitate the cooling of the intercooler. Because it is very close to the intake manifold, the turbocharger time lag is relatively well controlled.
3.Side-mounted intercooler
Generally installed on the left inner or right inner side of the front bumper, so the space occupied by the body is relatively small.
